The Great Work Begins:
Tragedy, Temporalities, and Utopia in Queer Theatre
The culmination of a semester long independent study, this thesis explores the "tragic frame" that is so prevalent in queer theatre, and how characters may break free of straight time and into queer time through the "queer hero's journey".
